This small, 45 page, booklet depicts every one of the 18 Royal Doulton nursery rhyme tiles that have been on display at Wellington Hospital for over 100 years.
Accompanying the image of each tile is the nursery rhyme or fairy tale relating to the image and an interesting fact about it.
The Royal Doulton Tiles where originally purchased for the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for Children in Wellington, New Zealand which opened in 1912. There are 18 tiles in total and they can still be seen today in Wellington Children's Hospital and Wellington Regional Hospital.
